On shore Tourist visa rejection
Hi
I applied for Tourist visa TR676 for my parent, onshore application for extension of the visa, which got refused by stating that the clause 676.211 was not met.
What does Clause 676.211 mean.....
Is it that there was not enough evidence shown that there was incentive to return to the home country.....
Well, all that was shown in the application when they frist arrived here.....would not imagine that anyone would carry all their property, investments, banking and depoists etc papers with them when they travel.....althought support was shown by us including our salary slips, home ownership, bank deposit etc.....also just surprised that immigration did not ask for any further documents!!!!!
Now we can either appy to MRT by paying $1400.oo fee for review....fees seems so unreasonable.........or wait and perhaps apply again with more documentation......
What are the MRT time lines for review these days?
If reapply ...what is the standard waiting times between applications....should we reapply onshore or off shore?
How would MRT treat the case and what can I expect?
Reagrds
