Default Partner (309) Visa and Health Waiver

I'm hoping someone will be able to answerer some of our questions and point us in the correct direction. My partner and I have been together for three years and just got married in October 2014, however I was also diagnosed with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis during that moth as well. We were going to apply for the onshore visa but decided against it after the diagnosis. I have since returned to Canada. I will need a health waiver due to the MS. This is the only thing holding us back right now.

Currently the two main questions that we have not really had answered are if my husband were to get a Canadian Visa to stay here while we wait on my visa, would this jeopardize my chances of getting the Australian visa? Also, can anyone give me the names of some migration agents (not lawyers) who would know what to do regarding the doctor reports?

Also I'll give some more facts about us
- We are in our 20s
-We do not have children
-He is an Australian citizen and I am Canadian.
-He is an engineer, I currently do not have a degree in anything important/useful but I am doing some courses to improve this
-We both work
-I do not have a criminal record (not even a speeding ticket!)

Hi, and welcome to the forum. I can't see that your husband applying for a Canadian visa will have any impact on your application.
