Default How long for Engineers Australia Assessments

Hi All,
Thanks for this great forum. I hope to be able to answer all my questions now!
Has anyone completed the Engineers Australia CDR assessment recently?
How long did it take?
Was it straightforward and simply a case of waiting after submission?
My OH has to do this now.
IELTS done so we are one step further on.
Thanks in advance,
Ingenschooly.

Hi Ingen

The duration for assessment depends on the university you graduated from. If your Engineering degree is from one of the Accord universities where no CDR is not required, it is now taking about 4 weeks - previously it used to take about 2 to 3 weeks.

It can be longer if your degree is from a non Accord country, usually 8 weeks.

We had one done in June from a Washington Accord Degree and it was completed in three weeks.

I may add, the Engineers Australia is among the top , if not the top most, friendly and helpful authorities for skills assessment. They have even allowed applicants to review and rewrite their CDR. They freely interact with Agents and applicants in a most helpful manner. That has been our experience.

Wish you the best
