Default Health Assessment for Defacto Partnership Visa

I applied for a defacto visa in November 2016.

When I logged in my immi account a few weeks ago I noticed a link under my application that says "View Health Assessment" and when I click on it I get: "This person is required to complete health examinations for this visa application. Click on the link below to organise these health examinations." I then get a HAP ID and a Referral letter.

On the other hand, when I go to the document checklist for partnership visa on the immi website, its written: "You and all dependents, regardless of whether they are in Australia with you, will need to undertake health examinations. The results of a health examination are valid for 12 months. Do not organise your health examinations until you are asked to do so by your case officer."

At this point, I am not sure what to do? Do I go ahead and get the health examinations done because its says I am required to do those when I log in my immi account, or do I wait until I get instructed to do so by a case officer?

Wait until instructed by a case officer.
These days they used to send an automated email telling you that the application has progressed in the queue. That time or soon after would be good to undertake the health test.

Hi Zoltan,

Thank you so much for your reply. When I log in my immi account it does say: "This application has been received by the department and has been placed in a queue." but I have not received an email at all. This statement has appeared in my immy account about a month ago. Does that mean that I have been signed a case officer and should go ahead with the health assessments?
