Related by blood : Blood relatives : brother, sister, first cousin, nephew, niece etc.
Related by marriage : brother in law, sister in law, father in law etc.
Related by adoption : adopted by a relative of your partner

Default 2nd degree cousin PMV sponsorship

Hi everyone.
What is the chance of me sponsoring my 2nd degree cousin on a PMV?
Another factor is our age gap, she is turning 18 and I am 38.
Is the fact that us being blood related going to affect any chance of success? By the way, is anyone come across with an application being rejected before based on that particular fact?
Would appreciate any help at all.
Thank you!

This sort of distant relationship should not be a problem.

Even bigger age gaps are commonplace.

You are not "related by marriage" to your wife. You are "related by marriage" to your wife's parents and siblings (your in-laws).
