Bridging Visa

Hello there,

I moved to Australia last August 2016. I applied for partner/bridging visa in September 2016. We have 2 kids, 4 and 6 year old.

Under the circumstances I would like to separate and I would like to know what is the rights and option for me here. Do I have to cancel my current bridging visa/partner and apply for parent visa? Do I have to pay again 7000 dollars?

Any advice appreciate.

if there are children of the relationship, there may still be options available to you under your current partner visa application. I suggest you get some professional advice to get it sorted, as it can be quite tricky to get it right.
