Default Manila "finalisation" stage

Hi all

I spoke to Manila office the other day regarding 300 class visa. They said all the checks have been completed and it is in the "finalisation stage". Does anyone know what is meant by that term? Does it mean sitting on someones desk waiting for the signature or is there further processing being done.

Thanks for any info

Ellis

It means it won't be long. It WOULD be on someone's desk. Possibly there are still a few things to be done. But most importantly it means it's no longer in the large pile of documents being ignored, which is MOST of the waiting time. Most likely it would be good news, or they wouldn't be likely to word it that way.
