Default DIAC Melbourne: certified decision ready processing timeline

Goodmorning. Does anyone know how long is currently taking to process a Certified Decision Ready 856-ENS application lodged at the Melbourne office?

PS: the employer nomination has been already approved. I have just lodged a CDR application through Migration Agent and I have submitted all the documentation needed.

I know the timeline changes from time to time due to application loads, but perhaps there is anyone out there who has recently logded a similar application in Melbourne?

Thank you.

Hi Jade

Welcome to the forum.

My most recent experience with DIAC Melbourne was 10 calendar days from lodgement to approval of the ENS nomination and grant of the related 856 visa application (both fully complete applications lodged at the same time).

Default DIAC Onshore Visa Acknowledgement Letter

Hello again!

I have just receiveed a copy of the DIAC Onshore Visa Acknowledgement Letter for my 856 visa application lodged as DECISION READY by my migration agent.

My question is: do they send the same letter format to all the applicants regardless if their application was Decision Ready or not???

In the letter I read:

Case Allocation & Processing Times

Please note that this application has not yet been allocated to a case officer. We are currently receiving a very high number of applications. Service standards for ENS applications are 5 to 7 months. We aim to ensure this application is decided within those service standards.

5 to 7 moths would be the processing time for an application lodged withouth the Decision ready certification....

Just double checking...

Thank you very much for your help.
This is a wonderful forum!

Best Regards.

Thanks for you reply.
The question is did you and your friend lodge the applications through migration agent and had the applications certified as decision ready?

Hi Jade

This is a standard template letter generated automatically by DIAC whenever an ENS visa is lodged, whether by a migration agent or individual applicant and whether it is decision ready or not.

Thank you very much....
this is what I thought, but I wanted to double check....
Still waiting (tomorrow will be 10 working days from lodgment...)
I know, it depends on the current amount of applications....gotta be patient!
Hope the answer will come soon, and will be good news!
Thank you very much again.
This blog is awesome! I am sorry I didn't find you earlier....
;-)
Cheers

Hello,

Is there a way to find out if my migration agent has submitted a Decision Ready RSMS 119 nomination at Melbourne?? Somehow I get the feeling that the agent hasnt submitted a DRC even though she has stated that she has...

The reason I am doubting her is because the nomination was submitted on July 22nd 2011 and till date I havent been assigned with a case officer! Every time I contact her, she says standard processing is 5-7months. Last week she emailed DIAC who still havent responded to her email.

If I submit the a DRC visa application at Melbourne, how long will it take for a case officer to be allocated??
