I think you will rely heavily on statements (preferably affidavits, stat.decs.) by colleagues, family, friends and employer to confirm your living arrangements and the genuineness of your relationship. Get as many as you can, preferably from Australian citizens/permanent residents or locals with strong credibility.

-Do you have any evidence of the actual wedding celebration ?
-Plane-tickets, visas that show you were in the same place at the same time ? -Phone-records, sms, e-mail during times apart ?
-Hotel stays with both names on the reservation ?
- Life insurance with each other as beneficiaries, is he a beneficiary of your superannuation policy, is there a will ?

If you are unsure or if you get stuck, get yourself a good registered migration agent.

Best of luck,
