Child Migrant Stories
THE untold stories of children sent from Britain to countries around the world are revealed in a new Melbourne exhibition on child migration.
Thousands of kids, some as young as four, were sent from orphanages and schools across Britain to Australia and other Commonwealth countries under child migration schemes in place between the 1860s and 1960s.
