Hi All,

I'm in the middle of the ENS application.

I'm holding a 457 visa and my employer stared the ENS application in February.

Two weeks ago the DIAC (Perth) asked for additional documentation. Today I called the DIAC asking about the application and they said that we will give us an answer in two weeks time...

With the old SOL in the ASCO code I was the following: 2231-79 Computing Professionals nec (.NET specialist).

I'm trying to understand in the new Skilled Occupation List where I should be....

261311 Analyst Programmer
261312 Developer Programmer
261313 Software Engineer
261399 Software and Applications Programmers nec

Assuming that everything is going to be OK with the nomination, how long is going to take to process my application and get permanent?

Is there any way to speed up the process?

Thanks

Vit

You are already in the fastest lane. Get the medicals and police checks done and submit them. That is the only sensible way to speed up the process. Well, that is the way to prevent the process halted for a few months.

I have already done police checks (back in February)... are they still valid? or Do I need to ask them again?

thanks

At the time of the decision they should not be older than a year. They are still OK, provided your application will be decided until February next year.
