hi.. i am a Filipino married to an Australian for 10months but we don't have a child yet.we are planning to apply for spouse visa so we can live together in Australia. the problem is we don't know who will lodge first the visa for me.If it is my husband first or me.one thing more is where are we going to lodge it?is it necessary to lodge my visa in Australia if ever my husband lodge his form or petition in Australia? or i can lodge it here in the Philippines even if my husband lodge his petition in Australia?
what are the other supporting documents that we can present for us to easily grant a visa?examples of proof of relationship..

hope u could help us..thanks

Hello Crinzel,

We can't explain the entire visa application process here. It would take too much space, and it would not be fair to you or to the end results of your application to try. It would be like emailing your doctor and asking "please explain how to operate on my appendix".

I strongly suggest that you and your husband contact a Registered Migration Agent, and we can help you with your application. Applications through Manila are notoriously difficult and there are high refusal rates. Better to get a professional to help you.

We have an office in Muntinlupa City (Metro Manila) as well as Brisbane. Happy to help. Please check our website and fill in the partner visa assessment form? http://www.downundervisa.com.au/page9/Partner.php

If you're in the Philippines (which it sounds like you are?), then you have no choice. You must lodge in Manila.
