Permanent Residence

Hi,

My family and i relocated to australia on a subclass 457 visa on the employer nomination scheme, i have been in australia for 14 months, of the 14 months i have been away from my family for around 9 months for work. I can't carry on doing this as my family will fall apart and that's not why i came here. Do i have any options regarding getting permanent residency and not being tide to my current employer?

You could apply for a permanent employer sponsored visa with a different employer. RSMS (sc. 857) or ENS (sc. 856), if you meet the requirements for these visas.
