my case is that i studied in sydney and Now holding TR (visa 485), i wanna know that if i can sponsor my same-sex partner who is a illegal migrant staying in sydney over 12 years. however, we have lived together since 2005. we have no Joint Bank Account, he uses mobile phone under my name, but we have photoes and some friends knows we are a couple.

and i aslo submitted my PR (visa 885), so can i sponsor him to stay in australia when i holding TR (visa 485)?

You must be an Australian citizen or an Australian permanent resident to be able to sponsor a partner.
