actually what asıo checks about the applicants??
only criminal records? because we provide criminal records to the consulate and i am really interested to know what are they looking for?
second question is,
being illegal status another country can affect prospective marriage visa application??
my case was:
i was in USA. 1998-2001 , i went there as a student and i had some financial problems , i overstayed my visa and, left the u.s.a later on..
i received my police clearance , it says i have no crime record at all.
can that be a rejection reason?
thanks.
