Good day,

I am interested could I apply as a Computing Professionals (nec): 2231-79 when I finish my Master of Business Information Systems program. According CCS web site this program has been accredited at professional level. However, my major is in Information Systems and according ACS qualifications Criteria, an applicant need have “an Australian Bachelor degree, or Graduate Diploma, or higher degree qualification, with a major in information communication technology (ICT);” Do I right understand that Information Systems’ subjects are included in Information Communication Technology even if it is Information Systems Management?

There is a list of my core subjects:
Electronic Commerce for Managers
E-Business Systems
Relational Databases
Information Systems and Communication Technologies
Information Systems Analysis and Modelling
Enterprise Systems and Business Process Management
Information Systems Management and Strategy

Hi Helga,

I am making the following assumptions:

In your post when you said CCS you meant ACS.

You have completed your Masters in Business Information System from an Australian University and that course is accredited at professional level by ACS.

If my above assumptions are correct and also because of the courses you have completed, which you listed, there should be no problem.
