Hi Migration Help,

I am currently in a relationship with someone in the Philippines, I am currently separated since October 2009 and will be filing for divorce prior to October 2010. I was just wondering if there's any information of what visa I need to apply for my fiance, we really do miss other so much and I'd like her to be with me as soon as possible. She also had three kids on her previous relationship which the father abandoned them and are deemed to be illegitimate kids. I love this kids too and they treat me as their real father and want to bring them here as well together with my fiance. Could you please provide me information or contacts that could help me. Thank you very much

Hi Dagool,

Thank you for posting your query in the MH forum. The Philippines is considered a risk country for migration profile. We have done quite a few cases, including inter-religious ones, from the Philippines.

The Department will require "eligibility to marry" certificate from the sponsor and visa applicant. (the Philippines is a Catholic country and does not recognise divorce). We have assisted visitors’ visas from Philippines for those who wish to visit their prospective sponsor in Australia for "familiarisation prior to tying the knot" purposes. We have succeeded in persuading the DIAC to grant the visa.
I also offer some discount in my professional fees for MH forum participants.
Please email me your phone number to rkc@austmigration.com.sg

Best wishes
