From 1 January 2010 onshore applicants for General Skilled Migration in trades will have to pass a Job Ready test.
Trades Recognition Australia has advised that it will be offering a Job Ready Program but details of what it will involve are not yet available. See: http://www.deewr.gov.au/Skills/Progr...pplicants.aspx\
