Hi,
I am 43 years old, have a degree in Accounting from University of Illinois at Chicago, but for the last 10 years I’ve worked with and run my own consulting company providing PeopleSoft Functional Subject Matter expertise and Project Management on PeopleSoft Upgrade, Implementation and maintenance and Support projects. I've worked with PSFT from Vs. 7.0 ton Vs. 9.0. HCM, TAM/CG, Time and Labor, Benefits, Core HR. and Financial AP/PO/AM/GL/BI/AR/PR.
I am a dual citizen: Russian and US and I live in the States for the last 20 years. I would like to apply for 175 with my Russian Passport, Russian is my native language. I am of good character and is in a good health.
I would like to apply for Skilled - Independent - Migrant (subclass 175) visa. ASCO Code:
Occupation ASCO SOL Points Assessing ENSOL
Computing Professionals – Systems Designer 2231-13 Y 60 ACS Y
MODL Computing Professional - specializing in PeopleSoft * 2231-79
Could anyone please recommend a migration agent who has experience with assessment of PeopleSoft Professional and can help me to complete all of the required applications and apply for the visa?
Regards,
Greg

Hi Ahees,
I think you have a good case as a IT professional.
The issue if your People Soft experience will be considered for an assessment for 60 points.
In the past ACS rejected a number of SAP consultants.

Robert, thank you for your reply. I have same doubts, that is why am looking for migration agent, someone who has done it before. With my age without 60 from ACS and additional MODL 15, I am way below 120 point and would have to look for a sponsorship. I have found a lot of job postings for experienced PeopleSoft professional on Sidney and Melbourne Job Boards, that gives me some hope. Having Russian as native, would I have to go through any kind of evaluation to get a 5 points credit for a community language? I can get a 3 to 12 months tourist visa and apply, when I am in Australia, would that make it any easier and better chances for me to obtain 175 visa? I also would like go by my Russian passport, is that a cause for any concerns? Thank you, Greg.

Hi Ahees
Firstly, I spoke to AMIN and he will be sending you an email.
Secondly, once your RPL is written upo to include your speciLISATION OF PEOPLE SOFT and score at least 100 points you may suceed in getting a state like WA to sponsor you under their SS scheme or one of the other states. Now Each state has extra discretionary 500 places for each state to sponsor. I will assist Amin with the application for State Sponsorship for WA as i have high sucess rate of securing SS sponsorship in WA.
One can only cross one bridge at a time.
You need to sit for IELTS at your earliest and try to secure high score for each component. WA likes applicants with 7 marks for each of the 4 components.
Amin will advise you on these matters.

Hi Glenn
Your post in the thread came as a shocker for me. Because I am SAP consultant and was hoping to apply for ACS assessment after the new SOL is announced effective July 1,2010. Is there any specific reason why SAP consultants are rejected? I am a SAP functional consultant, aged 35 years and has total 12 years experience out of which 8 years in SAP. PLease help
How should I present myself so that ACS gives a positive review.
Hoping to get good news from you
regards
Mahesh
