Everyday unfortunately the news about international students in Australia is gloomy. Is there any ray of light? Is anything getting better now that our varying governments have sat up ant taken notice?

The visa scams in the UK and USA is far greater than what it is in Australia and therefore when the regulatory controll in Australia gets tightened these students from India will go for other countries where it is easier to scam.

I am not aware of any other country that accords eligibilty at apply for residence status, permanent and temporary, on completion of the education as readily as Austaralia does.

Attacks on Asian students may not be all about racsim. Deprivation and poverty causes attach on the more affluent class of passengers in trains for simple thing as ciggereates.

What more if these oveseas kids want to flash their expensive electronic gadgets to deprived poorer class of locals.

It is easy for this media in India to talk about racism in Australia. I have worked and lived in India and the caste based racism in India is deplorable. Which pot is calling which kettle black.
