Article from: The Australian
SHONKY Australian vocational colleges are destroying the lives of young Indians and damaging the country's reputation, according to Indian Minister for External Affairs S.M.Krishna.
He called for new regulations to cover private colleges and continued reform by the federal and state governments.
Speaking to The Australian in Melbourne, Mr Krishna said the physical attacks on Indian students and the poor quality of courses and services offered at many vocational colleges were of concern to India.
"I think they (vocational colleges) are not only bringing a bad name to Australia but they are destroying the future of the younger generation of Indian students," he said.
